Refund policy

AmsclinicShop offers a 30-day return period for all eligible purchases made online. The shipping fee is non-refundable. Online returns with a valid receipt can be made at any of our retail locations in Dorval or Cote-des-Neiges (Montreal).

Refunds on eligible items will be issued to the original form(s) of payment.

We will only accept returns on items that are in their original condition: unworn, unused, with tags, in their original packaging, and unwashed with all the original tags and packaging intact. A restocking fee of 20% will apply.  The client is responsable for shipping fees associated with the return.  A return authorization must be obtained prior to shipping back any item.  We do not accept returns or exchanges on gift cards, braces, pillows or garments that are worn or applied directly on the skin such as socks, braces, hernia supports, pillows.  We do not accept returns or exchanges on all braces that have not been fitted individually by our experts via the online or in-person free screening option.

Excluded Items - Special Return Conditions

The following categories of products have special return conditions due to hygiene and safety concerns:

Mobility Aids Walkers, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, scooters, rollators, transfer boards, gait belts, and mobility scooter accessories

Bed Aids Bed rails, overbed tables, bed wedges, bed trays, mattress protectors, bed pans, and pressure relief cushions.   There are no returns or exchanges on travel pillowise pillows.

Hygiene Aids Toilet bowl risers, toilet safety frames, commodes, shower chairs, bath benches, grab bars, and personal hygiene products

Bath Aids: Bath lifts, bath boards, bath steps, shower stools, non-slip mats, long-handled bathing tools, and bathing accessories


These items can ONLY be returned if they are completely unused, unopened, and in their original box with all packaging intact. Once opened or used, these items cannot be returned due to health and safety regulations. Please inspect these items carefully upon receipt and contact customer service immediately if you discover any defects or issues before opening.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@amsclinicshop.ca. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as for instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges on all medical products that have not been fitted individually by our experts via the online or in-person free screening option.  We do not accept exchanges of electrodes, henia briefs, pillows, braces and TENS machines.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.  The client pays for the shipping of the item he or she would like to exchange.   

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
